We can achieve this level of service through partnership between our in-house FAA 145-repair shop, Air-Cert, and our deep inventory at Pac-Air.

We service a global client base including commercial airlines, other air-carriers and MRO facilities leveraging our inventory with our extensive repair capabilities and 300k+ parts near LAX, among the top 5 busiest airports in the US. We partner with our customers to service and repair parts to make sure they can keep their fleets flying. The combination of these two offerings gives us a strategic advantage in servicing our > 1,000 customers.

Air-Cert in particular focuses on Mechanical and Electrical accessories and Landing Gear components on the world’s largest jets. They service military, cargo and commercial customers with name brand customers.

The Opportunity

Air-Cert, Inc. is seeking a full-time, accessory/hydraulic technician with mechanical skills, accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail.  Functions may include: disassembling, cleaning, detail inspections, painting, assembling, testing of components, and general maintenance on hydraulic test stands. Candidate should be dependable, reliable, have basic computer skills, good organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7 am – 4:00 pm

Key Activities:

  • Perform complete teardowns, inspections, assembly and testing of mechanical and hydraulic components

  • Must be capable of fully understanding overhaul manuals, service bulletins, A.D’s and manufacturer’s drawings

  • Strive to maintain high quality through continuous improvement in quality of work

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years as a repair technician at a 145 repair shop and ideally 10 years

  • Experience inspecting parts within an FAA approved Quality system

  • Attended Aircraft school, or Airframe and/or power plant certificate

  • High School Diploma

  • Read/speak/write English

  • Attention to detail

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to meet our on-time delivery requirements

  • Must have transportation to and from work

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
