Founded in 1959, Pacific Air Industries & Air-Cert, LLC are the aerospace industry’s trusted partners for buying, repairing and selling surplus airplane parts. We help airlines and other air-carriers keep their planes in the air. At Pacific Air, we do this by providing competitive pricing on our extensive inventory and shipping their orders the same day. At Air-Cert, we have a wide range of capabilities that we can perform on tight lead times.
Today, we are supported by a group of long-term investors that recently invested, looking to build on our legacy. We service a global client base including commercial airlines, other air-carriers and MRO facilities leveraging our inventory with 300k+ parts near LAX, the third busiest airport in the world. In addition to supplying parts, we partner with our customers to service and repair parts to make sure they can keep their fleets flying. The combination of these two offerings gives us a strategic advantage in servicing our > 1,000 customers.
The Opportunity
We are in the process of building our sales team across both Pacific Air and Air-Cert. This role will be focused on growing our sales with Air-Cert. Air-Cert is an FAA/EASA 145 Repair shop with unlimited Accessory Class 1 and Class 2 capabilities and limited Landing Gear capabilities.
Air-Cert has a successful history of supporting Cargo, Commercial, & Military customers through quality repair work and long-standing relationships. We have the vision to expand on the current success and reputation of Air-Cert and bring the brand deeper into the current marketplace. We are ready to invest in an Account Manger to drill down on existing business while developing new business and relationships.
The ideal candidate understands the 145 MRO business. You would own the customer experience. This would include following up with customers to find their pain points, supporting our sales team with market data and proactively creating transparency with our customer during the repair process. Your main objective is: create an easy and transparent experience for our customer.
Experience
An ideal candidate will have:
Experience in the aircraft Component Repair industry
Sales experience is a plus
Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
Strong work ethic with a history of persistence through tough challenges
An ability to build new relationships & leverage existing relationships
An excitement to travel to meet new customers up to 30% of the time
